Soon to be a family of four ~ Maternity Session, Kitimat/British Columbia

It’s always such a joy to photograph families I’ve had the honor of capturing over the years. This recent maternity session was no exception — I’ve photographed this sweet family for several years now, and it’s been such a privilege to watch them grow.

This time, we met to celebrate a beautiful new chapter as they prepare to welcome a brand new little one in just a few short weeks.

The location was stunning, Beautiful Minette Bay lodge, surrounded by the lush forest and the ocean, offering that classic variety of weather that makes this area so special — we had sunshine, a soft breeze, a touch of rain, and the kind of dramatic clouds that add so much depth and emotion to photos. Every shift in the sky gave us something new and beautiful to work with.

Sessions like these remind me why I love what I do: it’s not just about capturing smiles, but about preserving memories — the anticipation, the love, the quiet in-between moments. I can’t wait to meet their newest addition soon.
